Edumacation
A group of American dictionary editors have released a list of 100 words that they think every high school graduate (and their parents) should know. I admit this sounds boring, but only until you actually look through the list. Among other things, the editors fear that the average American doesn’t know the following words and are keen that they should learn them:

Euro
Impeach
Irony
Xenophobe
which either proves that the art of subtlety in political commentary is dead, or that we’re all doomed. Your choice.
