What The…? Oh, I See

I conclude that ITV’s live coverage of the World Cup has 3 seconds extra time delay compared to SkyTV’s:

  • Watching the England/Sweden game out of the corner of my eye while messing about on the computer.
  • HUGE roar from the pub down the street.
  • Look up to see a cross going in and England scoring.
  • Go back to what I was doing.
  • Indignant screams from the pub.
  • Look up in time to see Sweden equalising.

It’s like I don’t even have to bother watching the matches.

    Weirdly, the most noticeable the World Cup has been down here was when Ghana went through to the knockout round. There was this huge street party just up the road from my house. (There’s a large African population around here.)
