When, way back in the mists of time, we first set up a wireless computer network in our university flat, the standard ingrate comment was that now we just needed wireless A/C power and we’d all be set. While we just whined about it, it turns out that some MIT bods have been busy beavering away at the problem.
Sadly I read this BBC article 5 minutes after the TV programme it was advertising finished, so I didn’t get to hear all about the crazy ‘red rain alien spores’ falling in southern India. See also: Panspermia.
