This is the most depressing thing I’ve read in years.
Passengers on a flight from Malaga to Manchester refused to allow the plane to take off after hearing two Asian passengers talking in Arabic. Three hours and one thorough security sweep later - during which nothing in any way suspicious was found - the plane took off, without the two men on board.
The fact that the story is in the Daily Mail somehow makes it feel even more like Britain has regressed back to the early 70s. Alf Garnet reruns are being scheduled as we speak…
