Vending Machine Connections
Junk food is to be banned from UK schools from this September.
Aside from the fact that I’m now going to try to use the term “meat slurry” in as many conversations as possible, the most interesting part of the article is that they’re also planning to remove chocolates, crisps and fizzy drinks from vending machines on school premises. Now, I’m maybe missing something here, but what else do you put in vending machines other than junk?
Keep in mind why real programmers don’t eat quiche.
Note: this only applies in Not Japan. As we all know, you can get anything from vending machines in Japan, up to and including live lobsters. (I love how this is set up like a fairground claw-grabber machine.)
