To Select The Wanted Bomb

An, uh, “interesting” Italian to English translation on a petrol pump:

  • To insert the notesaligned to the right in any verse
  • To wait the accreditation in the display
  • To select the wanted bomb
  • Out to the spy of the selected bomb, to take the supplier

So, Fabio: Dodgy translation? Or is buying petrol in Italy more fraught that I’d ever have guessed?

    I can only read the bottom two instructions in Italian. They read

    Select the desired indicator.
    Once the selected nozzle’s indicator switches off, begin the ….

    I assume “spia” is a light, it could be some other warning indicator.

    Don’t ask me where they picked bomb up from. They used it for both indicatore and erogatore, which I think are completely unrelated.
