‘Serenity’ Angst
You lucky still-in-Edinburgh types will get a chance to see Serenity, the Firefly movie, a couple of months ahead of the rest of us. The showings are on the 22nd and 24th of August.
What’s really galling is that I’ll actually be in Edinburgh on the 24th, but have tickets for the Dresden Dolls that night. Goth-Punk-Cabaret beats seeing a movie every time.
Update 16/07:Apparently the demand for tickets was so huge that they’ve added extra showings on the 23rd and 28th. Details here.

Heh, as far as I know, there are 8 people in the ‘I’d give one, or perhaps both kidneys to see this’ camp and only 5 tickets to go around. Normally I’d be all for the first come, first served way of settling who gets to go, but this time (and possibly in no small part due to the fact that I’m at the back of the queue) I think it’d be far fairer to settle this the old way:

Google image search has a lot to answer for.
Anyway, I think the ticket fight might be postponed due to the showing being on a weekday afternoon. Plus, I’ve told James that his kidneys are forefeit if I don’t get one of the tickets…
