An example of why you shouldn’t have the TV left on a random channel in the background while using the computer. I’m getting more and more distressed while listening to some docu-soap-type thing about Britains’ car driving habits.
It seemed to be mostly the usual road rage and “I’m the greatest driver ever” type stuff. Cut to some guy driving around central London in an ugly rust-gold coloured LandRover. He’s currently bragging about the fact that it’s got a 4.2 litre engine, “The biggest you can get in the range,” says he. As he made this comment he was going at about 10mph. I wonder if he’s got effective mental blocks against the gallons/mile fuel usage he’s getting.
